Take the Gloves Off
We want to fight the good fight, and finish the race, but we cannot do that if we skip over the preparation process in its entirety.
Having devotional time is not about having grand epiphanies each morning. It's about making the time to dwell in the presence of the Lord; to lay down my worries, fears and concerns; to lift up my heart in praise; to know that in those moments I am completely set apart from the chaos of this world. Since giving myself that time, I've found that the Lord has more room to open my eyes to things I would've missed before; things I would've been too busy to see. Those are the things I've written about in this section.
